Cape Ann Motor Inn - Gloucester

The hotel's location was beachfront, right on the ocean. The employees were very friendly and superfriendly. Enjoyed staying at the well-equipped double room with a view.

Unfortunately, the room was unclean upon arrival. I found stains and hair on the bedding, quite off-putting.

The setting was excellent, really close to a good casual restaurant and the ocean. Our room was well-equipped and bright, available with a complete kitchenette and balcony and television. The staff were superfriendly and exceptional all the time: )

There were a bit lumpy beds.

I enjoyed my relaxing stay with wonderful beach views and the convenience of nearby restaurants and cafes, made exploring this charming area easy. One of my favorite highlights was being able to sit out on the deck and listen to the soothing sound of the waves while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Perfect for beach lovers

You won't believe the sunrise views from the room, it's like nature's own show every morning. The sound of the waves? Unbelievable, I just left the window open and let it rock me to sleep.

It wasn't exactly cheap but acceptable for what you get.

Don't miss the coffee and donuts in the morning. The coffee is really good!

Staying on the 3rd floor provided fine views of the ocean, with comfortable accommodations. The sliding door to the balcony offered a great sound of the surf, although privacy could be a concern due to the shared space. Registration was efficient, despite a brief delay as staff were on the phone, and the dog-friendly policy is a great perk. The salmon at dinner stood out as a highlight of the dining experience.

The ocean view from our room was a highlight for the whole family. We enjoyed easy access to the beach, and my teenagers loved the quick access to local attractions. The staff were genuinely friendly and always helpful.

For dads, it would be great if the lighting in the rooms could be improved for reading at night.

The cape ann motor inn has a fantastic location right on the ocean! It was amazing to enjoy the views from the patio and listen to the waves. The room wasnice and neat, really capturing that cozy, old coastal vibe we were looking for. We loved being so close to the beach and appreciated the friendly staff. The easy parking.
